A Newport Beach-based startup called DishClips is presenting an innovative way for diners to get to know their food. The company has created a website and mobile platform to assist local restaurants in presenting what they are best known for – their delectable dishes. DishClips has set out to become the leading online video library for local restaurant menus.

With a goal of revolutionizing the dining experience, the company produces high-definition quality video clips that range from 20 to 30 seconds in length to provide prospective diners with insight into various restaurants, as well as what kind of fare they can expect to indulge in once they arrive.

The company provides video production services to local restaurants, filming appetizing dish arrangements, the restaurant’s ambiance and décor, and giving viewers an impression of a restaurant before they even walk in the door. The website and mobile application features thousands of videos, which display distinctive dishes from favorite local establishments.

Once on the website, all users need to do is search for what type of food you are in the mood for and the desired location where you wish to dine, and you’ll be given a variety of options to choose from.

Since debuting their website, DishClips has highlighted dozens of restaurants that serve all of all types of foodie tastes. A few restaurants currently featured on the site include McCormick & Schmick’s, Five Guys, Maggiano’s, and In-n-Out.
